A Robert Burns Birthday Celebration

Join us for a festive afternoon honoring Scotland’s beloved poet, Robert Burns, filled with music, tradition, and good cheer. This special event is hosted by the Daughters of the British Empire, with all proceeds benefiting The Hickman.

Guests will enjoy an immersive celebration of Scottish culture through live entertainment, traditional cuisine, and camaraderie, all in support of The Hickman’s mission to provide compassionate, nonprofit senior living.

Seating is limited. Advance registration is required.


What to Expect

  • Live musical entertainment by Charlie Zahm, a nationally recognized performer in Celtic and folk traditions

  • Traditional bagpipers and drums

  • Scottish cuisine featuring haggis, neeps & tatties, along with additional fare

  • An opportunity to support The Hickman’s nonprofit mission in a warm, celebratory setting

Parking Information

Complimentary parking is available at West Chester Friends School,
415 N. High Street, located directly behind The Hickman. Entrance is on Marshall Street.
