The Hickman Returns to the West Chester Chili Cook-Off on October 12

The Hickman Friends Senior Community of West Chester is proud to once again participate in the annual West Chester Chili Cook-Off, a beloved community tradition that brings together local restaurants, nonprofits, and neighbors for a day of friendly competition and great food. For nearly 20 years, The Hickman has been part of this event, led for the past seven years by Director of Culinary and Nutrition Services, Rodney Sykes, who brings his passion and creativity to the kitchen each year. This year’s event, hosted by Fiorenza’s Food for Friends (F4), supports efforts to fight hunger while celebrating the spirit of community. Stop by our booth on West Gay Street to sample our chili, cheer on our volunteers, and vote for The Hickman as Best Chili in the Nonprofit Category.
