Make Caramel Apples
Time to go bobbing for apples! Caramel apples are a popular autumn treat to eat; the fun part can start with going apple picking for the perfect apple to use. Grab some caramel, melt it, and role the apple in the melted caramel. You can even add some nuts for an extra crunch. Keep in mind caramel apples are usually a hard treat to eat so you can always cut up the apple into slices first, then dip them in the caramel.
Autumn Wreaths
Many of us enjoy decorating our front porch, yard, and inside our house, filling it with pumpkins, mums, and other fall décor. What better way to spice up the house than adding a wreath to the front door – or any door of your choosing? Collect some fall leaves outside, try to find dry and fresh leaves. Cut a paper plate so the center is hollow and glue the leaves along the edge of the rim. Voila! You’ve just made a beautiful autumn wreath for your door.
Pumpkin Carving
Who doesn’t love the tradition of carving a pumpkin around the fall time? The fun can even start by going to a pumpkin patch and picking the pumpkin of your choice. Your local grocery or hardware store will have a pumpkin carving set to make it all the easier to carve. If carving is too much feel free to paint the pumpkin instead!
Remember to have fun with it and enjoy the time spent with friends and family. It is a great way to kick off the season and enjoy doing something fun.
