The Hickman West Chester Retirement Home Campus
Our senior living community is located in a charming college town that bustles daily with sidewalk dining, interesting shops, and specialty boutiques.
The Hickman campus is close to downtown West Chester PA and is nestled in a quiet neighborhood known by locals as Quaker Hill.
The Hickman Personal Care Community includes two residences: The Hickman Building and the Anna T. Jeanes Building. Also on the block and closely aligned to The Hickman community is the West Chester Friends Meeting House and the West Chester Friends School that includes classes from pre-school through fifth grade.
Students from West Chester Friends school regularly visit The Hickman to share in a variety of activities from costume parades at Halloween, Valentine’s Day bingo, Easter eggs hunts, music concerts, games and stories. Throughout the school year, students and residents alike form enriching and last bonds.
South of Quaker Hill is West Chester University. Students regularly participate in life at The Hickman as volunteers and as part of their course work to prepare them for professional careers in healthcare, social work, and nonprofit administration.
