The Hickman and Surrey Services for Seniors each have a longstanding tradition of providing supportive services and care to older adults living in the Chester, Delaware and surrounding counties. By partnering together, each organization can share their extensive experience and resources with its family of residents and members. Residents of The Hickman can avail themselves of the many valuable services that Surrey has been providing to its members so to keep them as independent as possible. Surrey@TheHickman offers a variety of programs, activities and supportive services designed to enable older adults to continue living with dignity and self-reliance in their own home and engage them as vital, contributing members of the community.

Karen Wolfrom, RNC, MSA as the Director of Surrey @ The Hickman
The Hickman and Surrey Services are pleased to have Karen Wolfrom, RNC, MSA as the Director of Surrey @ The Hickman. Karen brings to the position more than 20 years of experience working with seniors in management, sales, clinical teaching and consulting positions in skilled nursing facilities, personal care homes, homecare and hospice. She is a graduate of Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing, has graduate and undergraduate degrees from West Chester University and has completed health insurance studies at the American College in Bryn Mawr. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. In 2011 Karen began contributing content to the Daily Local News in a monthly section titled “Dear Care Manager”.
