Expansion Update – Monthly Review
On: November 10, 2017
Over the past month tremendous progress has been made on the project. As you can see the bulk of the exterior of the building has been completed, the site is being graded, the entrance driveway has been paved, the large cooling tower was set on the roof, and a lot of the interior finishes are well underway including cabinetry, trim work, doors, flooring, toilets and sinks, ceilings, lights, etc.
For the next month the big internal push will be to get all of the resident rooms completed with flooring, paint, bathroom fixtures, etc. The contractors will then focus on finishing all of the common area spaces as they work their way out of the building. The goal for the exterior is to get most of the sitework done, including sidewalks and landscaping.
Permanent power is expected to be turned on within the week. The interior mechanical systems will be turned on to begin testing and conditioning the space.
The contractors will continue to work overtime and Saturdays over the next month as they push toward completion scheduled for January 2018. The great news is that with the tens of thousands of man hours on the project work has been safely completed.
