Linda Kowal Lynch has a passion for paint!

Linda Lynch

A former resident of West Chester, Linda studied art at the Tyler and Hussian Schools of Art in Philadelphia.  She also studied faux finishing in Bensalem.  Experimenting with various mediums, mixing things up creates unique endings.  Linda's recent work has focused on recycling furniture.  She breathes new life into old worn pieces, working with the wood, twisting nature, color, texture and patterns.  Her whimsical style works well for commissioned children's murals.  Linda's work has exhibited locally in shows, galleries, design centers and boutiques.  Her work has been purchased by the Biggs Museum in Dover, Delaware and several schools.

Linda’s table this year shows her love of botanical themes combined with modern graphics and bold color. It also shows her talent for using trompe l’oeil, the French painting technique known as “trick of the eye.” The faux door on the left side of her table is a prime example.

Linda Lynch is a third year Art of Caring artist!
