Ever since John Hannafin was a kid, he had this big dream to be an artist...
He started scribbling on paper at a very young age, and this naturally developed into a passion for drawing. The process of creating and sharing made him feel alive and connected with spirit and people.
John began to paint in 2001 to transcend life challenges. For the next 3 years he painted fervently and prolifically, with the driving force being a desire to really have a positive impact on the world and people's lives through uplifting art.
On New Years Day 2007, John Hannafin decided it was time for something BIG. He embarked on a 3-month, 10,000 mile adventure around the country painting national parks, entitled "Art Across America." The trip was a quantum leap for him artistically, personally and professionally, and was featured around the country by such press as NBC, ABC, Fox News, Public Television, and several print publications. The journey transformed into a hardcover book and DVD, and has introduced his art to collectors around the globe.
John’s work has most recently been displayed at Faunbrook Estate, Visual Expansion Gallery, Chester County Art Association, Bala Gallery, and The Warner Theatre Gallery
This is John’s second year as an Art of Caring artist!
