Laura Barton received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA in 1984. She owns Barton Design, Inc - a full service graphic design company. Her main passion, however, is painting. Her oil landscapes, cityscapes, interiors, and still lives have been shown in numerous galleries, both locally and regionally. Her work is in several private collections, here and abroad.
She works primarily on location - en plein air - and can be spotted in the fields, woods and quaint streets of Chester County. Ms. Barton's paintings range from impressionist to abstract impressionist in style, and capture color and light in its many manifestations.
