Now in its 11th year, this re-imagined Art of Caring will include:
Friday, September 26: The Art of Caring Mixer: One Evening, Two Events
Stop #1: The Hickman Friends Senior Community from 5-8 p.m. (400 North Walnut Street, West Chester)
A Retrospective Exhibition of 10 Years of the Art of Caring, featuring a selection of painted items from previous Art of Caring events and a wine tasting hosted by Galer Estate Wines
Stop #2: The Chester County Art Association from 7 to 10 p.m. (100 North Bradford Avenue, West Chester)
Juried exhibition on Place: Home, Neighborhood, Town, including a display of historical archives from the West Chester Public Library.
Two great events, one admission price: $50 per person, or $90 per couple.Tickets are also valid for free admission to The Chester County Historical Society on Saturday, September 27.
Saturday, September 27: The Art of Caring Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This free event will be held in front of The Hickman on North Walnut Street and will include 20 artists and fine craftspersons, food music, and family activities. The rain date is Sunday, September 28.
The Hickman’s Art of Caring 2014 will benefit The Hickman and the Chester County Art Association.
