Going East on Business route 30 (from Downingtown)

Driving to The Hickman

From King of Prussia

1. Go South on Route 202, exit at the Route 30 bypass.

2. When on the exit ramp stay to the right (West to Downingtown and Coatesville)

3. Exit at the first Exit: Route 100.

4. Turn Left at the bottom of the ramp – this will put you on Route 100/Pottstown Pike going south toward West Chester.

5. Stay in the right hand lane. Pottstown Pike bears to the right up an exit ramp … (if you stay to the left you will be on Route 100 heading to Chadds Ford and Wilmington on what is a by-pass and will again become Route 202.)

6. At the top of the ramp you will come to a traffic light. This is Boot Road – CROSS Boot Road.

7. You will drive approximately three miles South on Pottstown Pike, which becomes High Street when you enter the Borough of West Chester.

8. At the traffic light at Marshall Street turn left.

9. Make the first right on Walnut Street.

10. On-street parking is available.

12. Enter The Hickman Building (second on the right) through the door under the large burgundy awning extending over the curved front driveway.

Going West on West Chester Pike (Rte. 3)

1. Take Route 3 (West Chester Pike) to West Chester.

2. As you enter the borough, West Chester Pike curves to the right and merges with Gay Street (one way traveling west).

3. Continue through West Chester to the intersection of Gay and Walnut Streets. Turn right on Walnut Street (the Post Office will be on your right as you turn).

4. The Hickman Building is 400 N. Walnut Street and will be the first building on the left after you cross Biddle Street.

Going East on Business route 30 (from Downingtown)

1. From Business Route 30 East travel to the intersection of Routes 30 and 100. (Exton Square Mall is on the far left corner of this intersection). Turn right at the intersection to Route 100 south toward West Chester.

2. Stay in the right hand lane. Route 100 bears slightly to the left and Pottstown Pike bears to the right up an exit ramp … (if you stay to the left on Route 100 you will be heading to Chadds Ford and Wilmington on what is a by-pass and will again become Route 202.)

3. At the top of the ramp you will come to a traffic light. This is Boot Cross – CROSS Boot Road.

4. You will drive approximately three miles South on Pottstown Pike.

5. At the traffic light at Marshall Street turn left.

6. Make the first right on Walnut Street.

7. On-street parking is available.

1. Exit toll booth and bear left to go south on Route 100. At the end of the LONG exit ramp, bear right and head south toward Exton and West Chester.

2. Travel South on route 100 going through Lionville (basically an intersection with hotels and restaurants) and Exton (an intersection at Route 30 where “Exton Square Mall” is located).

3. After you cross Route 30 you will go through several traffic lights, pass under the “Route 30 by-pass” overpass and the SEPTA/AMTRAK bridge. Pottstown Pike bears to the right up an exit ramp … (if you stay to the left you will be on Route 100 heading to Chadds Ford and Wilmington on what is a by-pass and will again become Route 202.)

4. At the top of the ramp, you will come to a traffic light. This is Boot Road – CROSS Boot Road.

5. You will drive approximately three miles South on Pottstown Pike.
